Rainbow Nation Brussels and Black History Month Belgium invite you to a screening of 3 short films and the opening of a visual art exhibition around the theme "Black & Queer, Trans in Belgium and the Netherlands".
The short films and exhibited art are all made by members of the Black & Queer, Trans communities of Belgium and the Natherlands.

In collaboration with the Queer collective KLAUW, the Black Trans Art and Joy Fund has created a series of six video portraits presenting a variety of Black Trans experiences. Join us for the Belgian premiere of the portraits and participate in a conversation about issues of visibility and joy for Black Trans people.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰
Director Mayra Xavier's camera follows Black Queer organizers and co-founders of Rainbow Nation Brussels, Rachael Moore and Eric Cyuzuzo, in their daily lives and meets their community and chosen family.
𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐬?
Rainbow Nation Brussels, together with director and photographer Nneka V., created a portrait of 4 Black men and non-binary people (Nick-Arnaud, Andy, Bryan and Rodrigue) who have different experiences in the gay (and Black) communities in Brussels. The short film was made, upon commission by Black & Gay, Back in the Day's Marc Thompson, as the official Brussels contribution to the 2020 Global Back Pride, which took place online on July 10th 2020.
